- With last year's 2,400 euros, we were able to help 40 families in Kymenlaakso with Christmas food, says Tanja Lahtinen, team leader of Kouvola Hope.
This year we will continue in the same vein: instead of Black Friday offers, we will donate 50% of our online store sales between November 26th and 28th to low-income families through Hope ry.
The past couple of years have caused great financial challenges for many families. That is why, together with Kouvola Hope Association, we want to help families with purchasing Christmas food this year as well. The funds collected will be distributed to families in the form of ready-made food bags during the children's Christmas gift distribution organized by Hope Association.
- More families have applied for Hope's help this year, where in the worst case scenario both parents have lost their jobs or have been laid off for a very long time. So help is really needed, Lahtinen explains.So if you like the coat, now is a good reason to buy it.

How to participate in the campaign
1. Buy liquorice or other products from the Kouvola Lakritsi online store between 26.11.–28.11. for the amount you want. The campaign starts on Friday 26.11. at 8 am and ends on Sunday 28.11. at 11:59 pm.
2. We will donate half of your purchase amount in full to Kouvola Hope Association. Hope Association will deliver the grant to needy families in the form of ready-made food bags.
3. The collected pot will be announced on Kouvola's Lakritsi website and social media channels on Monday 29 November.
Together we raised a pot of €1,300 during the campaign.
