Kouvola's delicious sauces are perfect for use as sauces for ice cream or waffles, as well as for flavouring pastries. This wonderfully licorice-flavored and creamy milkshake is of course best enjoyed in good company!
Freak shake
2 servings
¾ l vanilla ice cream
3 dl milk
1 dl Kouvola Liquorice-Tinsel Sauce or to taste
For the rims of the drinking glass:
1 dl Kouvola Liquorice Sauce and/or Kinuski Liquorice Sauce
1 dl whipping cream
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
To the bottom:
Kouvola Liquorice licorice pieces
For decoration:
1–2 meringues

Manufacturing
Measure the slightly softened ice cream into a blender and add the milk and caramel sauce. Blend until smooth.
Drizzle the liquorice sauce over the inside rims of large, clear drinking glasses. Drizzle the sauce over the edges so that the sauce runs down the edge of the glass. Drizzle liquorice pieces into the bottom of the glass to taste.
Whip the whipping cream and season with sugar and vanilla sugar.
Pour the milkshake into a glass and pipe a large dollop of whipped cream on top. Garnish with licorice pieces and crumbled meringue. Press the marshmallow onto the rim of the glass.
Drizzle the laku sauce over the top and serve immediately!
