A velvety soft key lime pie turns into a heavenly super treat when you drizzle Kouvola's Licorice Licorice Sauce on top. Can you resist trying it?
Licorice-lime pie
8-10 servings
Base:
200 g Digestive biscuits
75 g butter or margarine
Filling:
4 egg yolks
Grated zest of 1 lime
Squeezed juice of 3-4 limes
1 can (approx. 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
To the surface:
Kouvola Licorice Licorice Sauce
In addition:
1 dl whipping cream or whipping cream
1 tablespoon sugar
a pinch of vanilla sugar

Place the Digestive biscuits and melted butter in a blender. Blend until smooth. Press the mixture into the base of a 22-24 cm diameter loose-bottomed tin lined with baking paper. Bake the base at 175 degrees on the lowest rack in the oven for about 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, grated zest of a well-washed lime, lime juice and sweetened condensed milk. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and continue cooking for another 15-20 minutes or until the surface begins to set. Cool and pour over the liquorice sauce.
Whip the cream and season it with sugar and vanilla sugar.
