Halloween sprinkles coming up? Fizzy licorice brain jelly is a party favorite that won't go unnoticed. You can find brain molds in party supply stores, but if you can't find a brain mold, you can use another fun or spooky mold! Remember to note that the capacity of the mold is about one and a half liters.
Ingredients (10–15 servings)
10 gelatin sheets
1–2 l of water
1.2 l whipping cream (you can also replace some of it with milk)
1 dl Kouvola Liquorice pieces, chopped
1 dl sugar
Guide
Place the gelatin sheets in a large bowl of water, overlapping each other.
Measure the cream into a saucepan and stir in the licorice sauce.
Cut the licorice pieces into smaller pieces and add them to the mixture with the sugar.
Boil.
Squeeze out the excess water from the gelatin leaves and add them to the hot cream-licorice broth and stir.
Drain the broth into a brain jelly dish or other dish.
