Cinnamon mousse (6 servings)
The velvety soft mousses taste wonderful. The gorgeous licorice sauce has the color and pleasant taste of traditional caramel sauce and gives the mousse a wonderful flavor.
Ingredients
3 gelatin sheets
water for soaking
2 dl whipping cream
200 g mascarpone cheese
2 dl Kouvola Liquorice-crisp sauce
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
½ dl water
Guide
Place the gelatin sheets in cold water, overlapping each other.
Whip the whipping cream and beat in the mascarpone cheese, liquorice-cinnamon sauce and vanilla sugar. Check the taste.
Boil the water and dissolve the gelatin sheets squeezed from the water, stirring.
Pour the gelatin liquid into the filling, stirring constantly.
If desired, place Kouvola's Licorice pieces at the bottom of drinking glasses or dessert bowls and pour the mousse on top.
Let it set in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
Drizzle a little licorice-cinnamon sauce on top if desired.
