Licorice popcorns are a Finnish taste sensation. Use Kouvola Licorice powder to season your popcorn and prepare the popcorn in a pot, microwave or buy it ready-made. Licorice powder is available in our online store or in well-stocked grocery stores.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Option 1: ready-made popcorn
100 g ready-popped popcorn
1 tablespoon Kouvola Licorice Powder
Place the popcorn in a bowl and stir in the licorice powder. Mix until smooth.
Option 2: homemade popcorn
2 tablespoons oil
1 dl popcorn kernels
1 tablespoon Kouvola Licorice Powder
If you make your own popcorn, first pour the rapeseed oil into a pot and heat it. Add a few kernels to the pot and put the lid on. When the kernels pop, the oil is hot enough. Remove the pot from the stove, put all the popcorn kernels in the pot and cover with the lid. When the popping stops, the popcorn is ready. Mix in the licorice powder.
