Do you like meringues? Have you ever tried making meringues in the microwave? Microwave meringues are quick to make and you can get them really crispy in just a few minutes. A lovely meringue bowl garnished with liquorice and liquorice powder is a great treat for many occasions!

Ingredients (2–4 servings)
Micro meringues
1 egg white
4–5 dl powdered sugar
In addition
2 dl whipping cream or whipped cream
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
200 g raspberries
200 g Kouvola Liquorice pieces
Kouvola Liquorice powder to taste
2 dl Kouvola Licorice sauce or licorice-cinnamon sauce
Guide
- Place the egg whites in a bowl and measure out the icing sugar. Mix first with a spoon and then shape by hand.
- Divide the mixture into a few parts and roll into little finger-thick sticks and divide into small balls.
- Place baking paper on a microwave plate. Check that the plate can rotate freely in the microwave.
- Place meringue dough balls on baking paper and leave plenty of room to rise.
- Cook on full power for 1–2 minutes until the meringues are crispy.
- Whip the whipping cream or whipped cream and season with sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Layer the meringues, whipped cream, raspberries and licorice pieces in serving bowls or a large bowl and sprinkle a little licorice powder on top.
- Drizzle with licorice sauce or licorice-crisp sauce and serve!
