High school fundraising – class trip to Japan
Vieremä High School is one of the few high schools in Finland that offers Japanese-themed study units. Students have the opportunity to choose courses in both language and history and social studies. The studies also include a study trip to Japan.
The first study trip was made in the name of the project called Yokoso together with students from Lapinlahti High School in spring 2019. The "Yokoso" liquorice, named after the project, also helped a lot in the independent fundraising. The ordering process for them was easy and the product itself was so easy to sell that we placed several orders. The feedback from buyers was encouraging, so we used the liquorice order again in the fundraising for the next project. The group received help again in designing the box and the products were easy to market.

Daycare fundraising – sports equipment and trips
Ordering cake packages for Kartanoranta Daycare has become a nice tradition that we want to continue every year. Every year, grandparents and godparents have been delighted with the delicious cakes.
The children have also been able to participate in the holiday party! In the autumn, the daycare has organized a drawing competition, from which a work has been selected to decorate the cover of the holiday party package. The children themselves have enthusiastically voted for a suitable drawing for this purpose.
Ordering the invoice packages has been easy and especially fast, because the information from previous years is already ready at the factory. Order lists at the doors of the daycare and an electronic order survey for parents have been a good way to collect pre-orders. Sales targets have been met every year!
The purpose of the parents' committee has been to provide children with experiences and various indoor and outdoor play equipment through fundraising. The funds received have been used to purchase, among other things, hammocks for the kindergarten, which are nice to swing in during forest trips, various outdoor play and game equipment, memorable spring trips, and a great magic show.

Primary school fundraising – proceeds for field trips
Over the years, we have used our vacation income to go on study trips. We have had joyful experiences at Mustavaara Ski Center, on the Kalliojärvi nature trails, in Patvinsuo and Petkeljärvi national parks, and in the Ala-Koitajoki jungle, among others.

Idea – organize a fun design competition
